HotlineThe Office of Inspector General for the City of New Orleans encourages its citizens, employees, contractors and others to report waste, fraud, and abuse. You may report this information by telephone, fax, email, online reporting form, or by writing to our office. You may report the information anonymously, however any necessary follow-up for additional information will not be possible.
All information received will be evaluated and appropriate action will be taken. It is the policy of the Office of Inspector General that feedback regarding the OIG’s action will not be provided.
All sources will remain confidential. Additionally, all public employees will be protected from reprisal or retribution by “whistleblower” provisions as outlined in Article XIII, Sec.2-1120(21) of the New Orleans Municipal Code and LA Rev Stat 42:1169.
